“I learnt with Lisa this year and Passed in November 2nd time with 1 minor. I had a fab experience with Lisa because she’s so friendly and reliable.  She was really accommodating when I got a new job and needed to change my time slot ad she was always willing to adapt to meet my needs as a learner. I tended to get in my head at times and Lisa was kind but firm when reassuring me which helped me develop my self confidence with driving till I felt completely at ease.  The lessons are learner centred so you can choose the topic/focus and the lessons are fairly priced.  Lisa also provides a booklet where you track all of your progress which helps you make sure you’re test ready.  We did loads of mock tests which meant at test, I was far less nervous and felt well prepared.  Lisa is very thorough and with her you will learn to be a safe, well rounded driver that’s experienced lots of different road types and conditions. I highly recommend her!

As such she has tutored me from 0 experience to passing 1st time in just under a year, including a 2 and half month gap I had to take.  Lisa is a patient and informative instructor – taking time and consideration to fully explain all situations, safety and errors encountered and made in the drive.  She is good at using sheets/diagrams of roads to explain to you how you have taken a junction or road, when you’ve done poorly. Joel was on 14 day leave from his army training and wanted to get his Driving Licence while on leave.  He booked 40 hours of lessons including his test.  Having already passed his theory the Practical test was booked for the end of his leave.  Lessons were taken in 4 hour blocks with a couple of days off at the weekends.

Joel was very focused and was successful in passing his Practical Test 1st time on 29/8/2014 with only 2 minors.  Brilliant.

Previous Driving Experience: Previously in 2002, I had about twenty hours of driving lessons, most of which I felt a little nervous.  A combination of financial circumstances, university work but mainly and Instructore, who had a negative attitude towards my appreshensions, suggesting the, "maybe driving was not for me," dented what little confidence I had.  Unfortunately the lessons took a back seat. I had every intention of picking up from where I left off, that was until both my daughters were in a serious car accident with their father. This shattered my confidence further.

Experience with Lisa? It took me eleven years before I had the courage to pick up the phone and make the call.  I'm so glad I did, my experience with Lisa was very different. Although I was apprehensive and anxious and some would say an arduous learner, not once was I made to feel that I could not accomplish passing my driving test.  Lisa's positive attitude changed my thought patterns completely, enabling me to be confident and believe in myself.  Half way to my goal! Her ability to change her teaching techniques made learning eady for me.  My targets were realistic and Lisa's timing of recommendation to apply for the practical test was perfect. I passed first time, five months after re-starting lessons. This has been a huge achievement for me and a testament to Lisa's teaching methods and personality. Test Date 16/9/2013

Learning Experience with Lisa:- "Excellent.  Lisa treated me like a beginner to see what skills I had or hadn't been taught and developed my skills from there.  After failing four times in my younger days my confidence wasn't at a high level, but Lisa taught and encouraged me in a way that ensured that when I put in for my test I was confident I could pass.  Practising on the roads where the test routes are proved invaluable as I knew the area and was prepared for whatever the route could throw at me.  Her inclusion of the countryside drives and night driving (I mainly learnt during the day) gave me extra knowledge that I know I'll need, mock tests were excellent for finding my weaknessess so they could be worked on.  Also, Lisa was encouraging me to book the test before I felt I was 100% ready.  This proved she wasn't trying to drag it out for as many weeks as possible, but she knew when I was at test standard but wasn't confident enough in myself, and she must have been right as I passed first time with only one minor.  However, I don't feel that I've been taught to pass a test, I feel like I've been taught how to drive, so now am full of confidence that I'm equipped to handle any scenario that may come up."

 "I would wholeheartedly encourage everyone to do the Pass Plus.  Motorway driving is totally different to anything I'd done before, but I've been shown how to handle it.  The extra country driving, plus learning about different weather conditions and other towns and their traffic systems makes me feel like a very rounded driver."

Lisa's teaching was excellent as she was very patient and clear, and the car was great to learn in.  Her step-by-step introduction to what I thought would be daunting manoeuvres made them simple to learn. Lisa also helped me improve my attitude and conquer my road rage, so that I can be a safe driver for life. I passed my test first time with NO minors and I owe it all to Lisa's fantastic tuition - Thank You!"
